1. PLACES / TUALATIN HILLS NATURE PARK LOOP TRAIL
This nature park provides the perfect outdoor escape in a busy city. There are approximately 1.5 miles of paved trails and 3.5 miles of gravel. You’ll have an opportunity to view wetland marshes, wildflowers and native wildlife. When you arrive, begin the trail by the interpretive center. When you arrive at the Oak Trail, go right to continue the loop. Continue through the woodland until you reach Tadpole Ponds. Pass the Beaverton Powerline Trail to rejoin the Oak Trail. You’ll arrive at a boardwalk leading you through a swamp full of skunk cabbage. Take the next two lefts onto Vine Maple Trail. This trail will eventually lead you back to the Interpretive Center.
