Research shows that outdoor play is essential for young children's healthy development, contributing to improved physical health, cognitive growth, and emotional well-being (Bento & Dias, 2017). However, many families face barriers to getting outside, including a lack of access to family-friendly spaces, safety concerns, and feeling unwelcome in outdoor settings.

Hike it Baby is here to change that—by providing families with the resources, training, and community support to confidently explore the outdoors from birth.
