1. PLACES / THE PIKES PEAK GREENWAY
The Pikes Peak Greenway is a 16 mile multi-use trail that runs north to south or visa versa, along I-25 and Fountain Creek.  This trail has a mix of paved and gravel areas, and the trail is mostly exposed. Be sure to bring layers and sun protection.  It is popular for walking, biking, and running.  All-terrain and jogging strollers are best for this trail, but 4 wheeled strollers can be used if going for a short distance. There are a variety of parks and playgrounds along this trail.  If you are looking for a bike trailer adventure, this is a good trail to use. From the south you can access this trail near the S Circle Drive and E Las Vegas Street intersection, and this is near when the trail continues south, but the name changes to Fountain Creek Regional Trail.  From the north you can access this trail at the E Woodmen Road and Edmonson Trailhead intersection. There is a small paved parking lot there.  In this area the trail changes to the name of New Santa Fe Regional Trail and continues northbound into the Air Force Academy.  Along the Pikes Peak Greenway there are a variety of access points.
