1. PLACES / SIOUXON CREEK TRAIL
The Siouxon Creek Trail wanders through beautiful old-growth forest. The canopy covered trail will lead you past a variety of waterfalls. The beginning of the trail is unmarked but soon after embarking, you’ll arrive a sign letting you know you’re headed the right way. After about 3 miles, you’ll cross over a wooden bridge and pass the junction with Horseshoe Ridge Trail. If you follow this junction another 2 miles, you’ll come to Horseshoe Creek. Follow a short spur trail 0.1 miles past the creek and you will be rewarded with a view of Horseshoe Falls, a nearly 50-foot cascade. If you opt to pass the junction, you’ll arrive at Souixon Falls in about 2 miles. Many smaller, side trails will offer you a variety of viewing opportunities. If you feel like continuing the journey, you’ll arrive at 14-Mile Falls in about 1.8 miles.  Follow the creek and cross a log bridge leading to a signed junction. Continue over the footbridge to see Chinook falls before heading back.
