1. PLACES / ROCK BOTTOM TRAIL AT CHEWACLA STATE PARK
Chewacla State Park was one of the Civilian Conservation Corps projects following the Great Depression. Since then it has become a local nature getaway for mountain bikers, hikers, and other outdoor enthusiasts. Rock Bottom Trail is one of our family favorites. The full trail is 8 miles, but there are parts of the trail that will cross back on each other to cut the hike shorter.
