George Mitchell Nature Preserve - Creekside Park West Trailhead

The Spring Creek Nature Trail is an extensive out-and-back dirt trail, approximately 13 mi., that runs through the George Mitchell Nature Preserve and the Montgomery County Nature Preserve. The Creekside Park West Trailhead is located in the Tomball/Woodlands area, off Creekside Forest Dr. and Dr. Ann Snyder Way. From the trailhead, follow the blue blazes for approximately .5 mi. to reach a bridge as an interest point to motivate little ones to hike. Please note: the bridge does not have any railings. From the bridge, you can hike .5 mi back for a total of 1 mi. or you can continue hiking the trail for a longer hike. The trail is also full-sun, wide, and flat. Keep in mind that while the trail is flat and all-terrain stroller friendly, there are often large muddle puddles to navigate around.
