This Nature Center offers several trails: a paved 1/4 Mile trail, a One Mile trail, and a Two Mile trail (it starts and ends as a spur of the One Mile Trail). These can be combined for one big adventure or shortened for toddler waddles. Each trail offers unique features and different habitats local to Southern CA.
My favorite trail is the One Mile trail, as it is perfect for children to explore. If you explore clockwise, you follow the trail past the Nature building and turn left just after the bridge. You will go straight and cross another bridge, heading into a forest area. The trail gently winds through the trees, making it’s way to an opening where it is fun to play in fallen leaves. Near the end it will descend downhill, looping back to where you came from.
The Nature Center building has a lot of exhibits, including live bugs and snakes and interactive light displays. They also offer programs:
