1. PLACES / ANDERSON LANDING PRESERVE
This gorgeous trail leads down to a rough beach that provides especially gorgeous views of the Olympic Mountains at low-tide. It then loops up a moderate incline and around to a few gorgeous viewpoints before descending back to the parking lot. There are some steep drop-offs near the view overlooks, and the trail is a bit narrow on the way down so I recommend keeping a sharp eye on any curious explorers! In addition, during low-tides, the beach area may have boggy sections that are termed “shoe-stealers” for a reason. If you find that you are sinking a little deeper when exploring the beach, be sure to backtrack and find a more solid route.
