1. PLACES / ADAMS CANYON WATERFALL
Adams Canyon is a beautiful canyon in Davis County that rewards you with a great waterfall when you reach the top. A good portion of the trail is in the shade, which is a really nice treat after the first half mile of fully-exposed, sandy switchbacks. The beginning is kind of relentless, but it also boasts a beautiful, panoramic view of the Great Salt Lake and Antelope Island in the distance. Once you get past the switchbacks and into the canyon, it becomes more lush and the trail skirts the edges of the creek with a couple of wooden bridge crossings. The last bit of trail before the waterfall is quite steep. Trekking poles are recommended! More photos and info to come!
