1. PLACES / BIDWELL PARK (UPPER) - YAHI TRAIL
Yahi Tail is located in Upper Bidwell Park is a well trafficked, primarily shaded trail. It is an 8.8 mile out and back trail, but you can turn around whenever you want. The path mostly follows Big Chico Creek and even has a couple spots where you may need to cross really small streams to continue on the trail.   The great thing about Yahi Trail is there are multiple entry points with parking lots near them, so you can hike the first 1-2 miles one day and the next time park further along the trail to hike a different portion of the trail. There are also many great spots to stop and check out the creek, wild life, climb on a log, or just take in the seasonal plants. The trail is not stroller friendly, but is good for little hikers.
