1. PLACES / WILDCAT WAYSIDE
There are three waterfalls here and it is a great place for a creek splash in the summer. You don’t even have to hike to get to the water, but you will be rewarded with a view of the taller upper falls if you chose to do the loop trail. From the parking are, go down the small trail from the and you will immediately be at the Lower Wild Cat Branch Falls, where you can wade. Go up the stone stairs for more areas for water play and another short falls. The trail then splits into a loop. If you go counter clockwise, you will continue on along a creek. At the top of the loop you will be able to see a 130 foot upper falls. This area is a little rocky and littler walkers might need some help. As you continue on there will be some steep drop offs to look out for.
