1. PLACES / WEST RIDGE FALLS ACCESS TRAIL
A short paved trail through the forest ending in the beautiful Amicalola Falls. This trail winds its way along the side of the mountain to the bridge crossing the falls (729 ft high and the tallest waterfall in Georgia). Easy for toddlers, little kids, and strollers with a huge payoff at the end. Depending on how you feel, you can continue on to a number of other trails but the falls makes a good end point. Round trip from the parking lot (0.6 miles).   Submitted by: Ruth Longstreth
