1. PLACES / WALDO'S ROCK
A quiet escape located adjacent to the Marion Enterprise Center, east of Highway 13 and south of Highway 151. Marion’s newest park features a granite boulder which was deposited during the last Ice Age. The boulder is surrounded by a pond, which will be stocked and ready for fishing in 2019. It also features an open air pavilion, loop trail, natural prairie and a trail connection to the Grant Wood Trail.

There is a short paved trail around the pond about 1/4 mile long. There is a mowed grass trail through the prairie that is about 1/3 mile long.

There is a mowed grass prairie trail as well as a short paved loop around the pond and Waldo's rock. The park also connects to the Grant Wood trail.
