1. PLACES / VINDICATOR VALLEY TRAIL
This 2 mile loop trail is an interpretive trail that takes you past many 1890s gold mines. Signs along the trail provide information about mines and people that lived here. The trail is a wide gravel loop with a small climb, and all-terrain/jogging strollers can be used, but there are some rocky areas.  At the top of the valley you can see a modern mine still operating in Victor.  There is no shade and the trail is pretty exposed, so bring layers and sun protection with you. The views during the fall are great this time of year to do this trail.  While in the area you can visit Cripple Creek as well as the Molly Kathleen Gold Mine tour.
