1. PLACES / VINCENT DIFILIPPO NATURE PRESERVE
This 54-acre nature preserve along the Conodoguinet Creek serves as a natural habitat. It features meadows and wetlands and provides creek access for kayaking or fishing. The 9 ponds are also available for fishing. There is an almost 2-mile outer loop trail or a shorter one-mile inner loop trail, with easily identified trail markers, for walking, hiking, and biking. No dogs are permitted. This is a great spot for puddle stomping after a rainstorm or doing a nature scavenger hunt.  A crushed stone path is great for strollers and bikes.  The parking lot is large and there is a bench with a wooden bear carving at the trailhead.  Remember bug spray during the warmer months.
