1. PLACES / VERBENA FIELDS LOOP TRAIL
Verbena Fields is a well trafficked loop trail that is perfect for little hikers. It is best walked when it is not hot, as there is very little shade. This area used to be a rock quarry, so there is still some evidence of that, which is neat to see. There is a creek nearby during the rainy season and accessible with trails off the main loop. In the Spring there are a ton of wildflowers and in the Fall the area is beautiful with colorful Fall leaves. The summer months are not great for this trail. This area is also home to snakes, so stay on the trails.
