1. PLACES / TREE ADVENTURE/SOUTH TABLE CREEK TRAILS AT ARBOR DAY FARM
Arbor Day Farm is a 260-acre outdoor children’s playground with multiple stopping points for kids to explore on both of its trails. Tree Adventure Trail is a paved interactive trail that takes visitors to a 50-foot-tall treehouse. Branching off that trail, is South Table Creek Trail, an additional 2/3-mile dirt trail that winds through the woods. There’s a second tree house and several bridge crossings. There are also two outdoor classrooms that offer hours of entertainment for the kiddos. Take your time through the grounds as there are hidden gems in the woods for the kids to spot. In fall, the corn maze, apple orchard and hay ride add another layer of fun for the kids. Then head over to the Greenhouse and learn about how tree seedlings are grown and take a free tree seedling home.
