1. PLACES / THE FERN TRAIL
The Fern Trail is a 3.3 lollipop trail inside of Governor’s Park, which is less than a mile from the heart of Tallahassee, FL.  The main trail head has a huge green space great for running and playing.  The trail itself is shaded and runs along a creek and through wooded spaces.  This trail is best for carrying or hiking due to having to cross the railroad tracks.  Parts of it are narrow as well.  If you can pick your stroller up over the tracks and choose to do an out and back along the creek, you could take a jogger-style stroller. The Fern Trail connects to Goose Pond Trail in Tom Brown Park and Goose Pond Trail off of Mahan.  It also can connect to Kohl’s Trail.
