1. PLACES / TEMPLE QUARRY TRAIL
This is a short, no elevation out and back that runs just above St. George near the old airport. This trail reportedly is where stone was mined and hauled out for the main temple in town, which was completed in 1877. While this isn’t a spectacular trail when it comes to trails in the Washington County area, it is a nice quick family jaunt with good views of town. Also nice because it’s rarely a crowded hike and safe for hiking with multiple children. Photos: Zion Adventure Photog
