1. PLACES / TAMOLITCH FALLS (BLUE POOL)
This trail leads you along the McKenzie river through the old growth Douglas Fir forest to Tamolitch Falls, which flows into the lava formed Blue Pool. This pool is renowned for its incredible iridescent blue color.  The Falls often dry up during the Summer but are visible during the Spring. If you’d like to take a dip, continue past the waterfall ledge to a steep side trail that leads you down to the pool. The water is a chilly 40 degrees Fahrenheit, regardless of season.
