Steelhead Falls

Beautiful hike along the Deschutes River. Short but moderate, out and back hike. Downhill on the way in, so be prepared for the hike up. Several spots to stop and throw rocks in the river or take a dip. Very hot in the summer, no shade. Some hand holding spots as the trail narrows, gets rocky, and/or has a steep drop off. Rattlesnakes in the area. Composting toilet at trail head.
