1. PLACES / SPRINGTON MANOR FARM - PENN OAK NATURE TRAIL
One very nice feature of this trail is actually located right near the trailhead – there is a huge old tree with low branches which is beautiful tree to look at.  This trail is a short, stroller friendly, paved trail with a few vantage points to check out the woods as well as a spot to bird watch.  There is creek access along the paved path, as well as a large pond to look at fish in.  The trail is adjacent to a meadow next to the pond, which is a nice area to stop and climb on trees and some big rocks.   For more fun after you complete this short trail, walk from the trailhead over to the pastures and barn – there are lambs, goats, horses, chickens, rabbits and a peacock to check out!
