1. PLACES / SHOOKS RUN TRAIL
The Shooks Run trail is a 12 mile paved path for running, walking, or biking. It runs from the north to south or visa versa along the Shooks Run creek. All-terrain, jogging, or 4 wheeled strollers can use this path.  From the north you can get on this trail at the N Weber Street and Lilac Street intersection.  This is where the Rock Island trail connects and goes eastbound. From the south you can get onto the Shooks trail at the E Fountain Boulevard and the S Corona Street intersection. There are street crossings along this path, so be aware of this when you have little bikers with you.  This path has a variety of playgrounds, coffee shops, and even a seasonal ice cream shop along the path. There is only a short amount of shade provided along the path, so be sure to bring layers and sun protection.
