1. PLACES / SHELTER #2 - CAMROCK COUNTY PARK
Shelter #2 features a 1.8 mile loop. The trail is a dirt loop on gentle hilly terrain. There is access to a bridge over the Koshkonong River approximately half way through the trail. This is a great spot to take a break, check out the river and maybe catch some wildlife. Trail goes through pine woods, woodland and prairie. There are benches throughout the trail, great for breaks if needed. Due to the dirt terrain this trail is not stroller friendly, using a carrier is recommended for little walkers and babies. Shelter #2 has restrooms (May be seasonally closed), picnic area and playground equipment. Trail isn’t also used for cross country skiiing in winter months.
