1. PLACES / SHELTER #1 TRAIL - CAMROCK COUNTY PARK
The Trail at Shelter #1 is a 1.6 mile loop. It runs along the Koshkonong River, which provides opportunity to see all kinds of wildlife viewing. The trial is a mix of dirt and pavement, a portion of the trail loop is part of the CanRock Trail which is paved. There is access to a bridge on the CamRock Trail a short distance away from the loop that goes over the river to access more trails if you’d like to explore more. It’s a great spot for littles to throw sticks in. This trail head has restrooms (maybe seasonally closed), picnic area and playground equipment. Recommend carriers for little walkers and babies, strollers aren’t usable on the dirt portion of the loop.
