1. PLACES / SHANK PARK-INTERPRETIVE NATURE TRAIL
The Nature Trail at Shank Park is a little under 1 mile from the entry area of Shank Park to the large playground. This hike features a nice creek and a couple of bridges. This is a great place for creek splashing on warm summer days, but can be a muddy hike.  This is a very manageable hike for little walkers that will love ending or beginning at the playground. While a few parents have pushed all-terrain strollers through the trail we recommend carriers, especially when it has been raining. The disc golf course also starts in the same area.
