Settlers Cabin Waterfall Trail

The trail to the waterfall at Settlers Cabin is part of the green loop. We like to turn back after visiting the waterfall instead of hiking the entire loop. Depending how the weather has been, the trail can get very muddy, to the extent that the steep staircase becomes unsafe.

The way back up to the parking lot can be a tough hike for newer hikers building endurance.

What baby or child hazards are there on this hike?

The staircase leading down to the waterfall is quite steep and can be difficult for young toddlers.
