1. PLACES / SALISH PONDS WETLAND PARK
After parking at the elementary school, walk away from the school grounds and you will arrive at a gravel trail leading to the ponds. This is a popular fishing spot that was created from former gravel pits when the city turned this area into a wetland park. The first pond you will pass is the West Pond. The trail will take you along the north side of it. If you follow the path to the right when you reach the end of the pond, it will continue along the east side, with the East Pond on your left. At the end of this trail, head left to loop around East Pond before returning to the main trail.
