1. PLACES / CHAMPOEG STATE PARK
So many options of adventures here. You can enjoy a walk or bike ride on the paved paths or adventure off on any of the dirt paths that go off from the main paved trail. For little bike riders I’d recommend the path between Oak Grove Day Use and Riverside Day Use as it’s the flattest with best visibility. For a scenic 4 mile walk, start at Oak Grove and head toward the campground to take the trail toward Butteville which offers a nice wooded walk with river views and a couple hills along the way. Don’t forget to check out the nature play ground in the campground area for sand play, water features, climbing ropes and other fun nature play.
