Helpful Trail Information

Somewhat steep slopes and lots of steps make this best geared for walkers and carriers; avoid the jogging strollers. A very short section is paved with asphalt, but it is a fairly short distance. The one main loop has several "spurs" that take you out to look-out areas.

sunscreen, bug spray, water, snacks, gear appropriate for the weather

What baby or child hazards are there on this hike?

sun, bugs/ticks, water, snow/ice, possible poison ivy, some steep declines/drop-offs out on the spurs (but not the main trail)
