1. PLACES / RIVER BLUFF TRAIL IN GIVHANS FERRY STATE PARK
The first .5 mile is the most interesting as it has steps that go down into a canal and back up out of the canal. When you get to the top the trail follows the top of the bluff (DROP OFF) over the River. Just might want to hold a hand through this little stretch. Then it goes to through the forest next to a creek that runs down into the river. It is a 1.5 mile hike from the start to the finish but you still have to make it back to your vehicle. You can either walk across the field, down the road, passed the playground, and continue down the road back to you vehicle or back on the trail. Trail submitted by Meagan Oakes
