1. PLACES / PUMPKIN VINE TRAILL
This trail is an easy 1 mile hike, with some small inclines. It follows some old homestead paths through overgrown woods. There are the remnants of an old barn and farm house. You can walk through the old barn foundations and let the kids look down into the basement of the house foundation. In the spring the area next to the house is covered in daffodils, a nice colorful surprise along the path. As the trail loops around it goes along an old cart path next to an emptied section of the Erie Canal.
