In Brainerd Lakes Area: Parking near Northland Arboretum, Southern Parking Lot. OR : Parking in Baxter: The southern trailhead of the Paul Bunyan State Trail is located on Excelsior Road.then go east 3/4 mile to Conservation Drive; the parking lot is on the left.

Additional Information

The Paul Bunyan Trail is the longest trail in Minnesota, ranging 115 miles from Crow Wing State Park to Lake Bemidji State Park in Central Northern Minnesota. Most of the trail is paved. In Brainerd Lakes Area, can be accessed by parking in Baxter near Wise Rd, or by access near the Northland Arboretum South Parking.
