Paradise Springs Nature Trail is located in Eagle, WI just outside of the Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. The trail is a partially paved 0.7-mile loop that is perfect for little legs. The trail features a spring-fed trout pond that has dazzling emerald turquoise hues and hundreds of fish. The area of the trail contains quite a bit of history, as it was once the destination for Milwaukee’s most elite. As you hike, you may observe the remains of a hotel, horse track, shuffleboard court, and wading pool. The most popular feature of the trail is the hauntingly beautiful abandoned springhouse. Pit toilets and drinking fountains are on site. There is also a covered pavilion with picnic tables. Benches are located throughout the trail, allowing you opportunities to sit, relax, and be one with nature. The trail is open year-round and each season offers a unique and enchanting view.
