1. PLACES / PANTHER FALLS
There is a gravel road that leads to a parking lot and trailhead for Panther Falls about 3 miles in. The gravel road is long and curvy with lots of pot holes. We took it slow. We went in early September and there were not many people. It’s about .4 mile to wall from parking lot to waterfalls. The hike is along a path that sometimes could be narrow. We carried our 9 month old in on a front carrier. Could be rough for new walkers, not a smooth path. The waterfall is worth the hike. Bring a picnic and hammock. Swim in the several water holes.   Submitted by Cindy Traynor
