1. PLACES / PAINT MINES INTERPRETIVE PARK
The park has a diverse ecological system and features colored clay and sandstone-capped spires. It is the perfect toddler hike for kids to walk and explore.  It is possible to take a single all-terrain stroller on this hike, but the trail must be clear of mud, snow, ice.  It is sandy in areas, so good sturdy shoes are recommended for hiking and climbing. From the parking lot you will start to hike on the Green Trail, take the first right to follow this trail and it will take you down towards the rock formations.  You will need to take another right towards the rock formations on the Green Trail and continue to hike and explore the rocks and caves.  There are no posted signs for the trails.  Feel free to stay straight on the trail from the parking lot and it will take you around and above the rock formations, but will add more distance to your hike. No animals are allowed on the trail.
