North Kitsap Heritage Park - Spine Line and Boundary Trail Loop

North Kitsap Heritage Park is a gorgeous, densely forested network of trails located near the town of Kingston. This park gets an especially magical feel in wet and rainy conditions, making it a wonderful hiking spot all year round! The route we prefer is a 2 mile, easy to follow loop. If traversing counter-clockwise, take a right onto the bridge for the boundary trail. Continue on this trail until you come to an intersection with Spine line trail, where you will take a left and follow the loop around back the the parking lot. You can take a detour near the parking lot to explore the beaver pond, let the kiddos climb the huge rocks near the trailhead, or stay for a picnic in the field near the parking lot.
