1. PLACES / MUKWONAGO PARK
Mukwonago Park is one of eight Waukesha County Parks and it offers three ponds and six trails under 2 miles each. Park in the lower section to explore around the ponds and barn, but even the rangers here will tell you the more scenic hiking happens “up the hill” near the campsites. Here you’ll find beautiful pines and countryside views. This park is dog friendly but the dog exercise area is accessed separately from the main park.
