Arboretum & Butterfly Garden The entrance to the Arboretum is on the north side of the park at 7439 Worcester Road, Palo. A one-mile crushed limestone trail loops and winds through over 250 species of trees and shrubs. The collections include native and exotic shade trees; ornamental trees and shrubs; prairie grasses and forbs; crab apples; lilacs; and the butterfly garden.

Trail Length/Type

1 mile crushed limestone loop. You can also access trails to other areas of the park including the campground, day use area, new playground and off leash dog area. Also access to the paved Morgan Creek Bike trail that connects to several paved trail systems in the area.
