Mitchell Woods - New London - CT

Found on the Mitchell College campus, is an open-to-the-public loop trail suitable for little legs. This is a great trail for getting toddlers into hiking as you can finish off their hike with a visit to the seasonal ice cream shop also located on the campus. "Mitchell Woods is a 26-acre public park that includes wooded trails and a pond, in addition to a basketball court, two Little League fields, and the Children’s Learning Center at Mitchell College."
