Mechanicsburg - Lower Allen Community Park

Lower Allen Community Park features the George and Rita Garstand Nature Trail.  This nature trail is approximately one mile in length, with numbered posts which match up with numbers in the guide to provide information regarding each station along the trail. Half of the trail is along the Yellow Breeches and it also goes through a marsh. This trail is appropriate for off road strollers. It is fairly flat, with some roots. This park also features a number of playgrounds, including The Fun Fort, a dog park, boat launch, and basketball, softball, tennis, volleyball areas.
