1. PLACES / MAGNESS TREE FARM
**May 2019 Update – Magness Tree Farm is now operating with limited hours and is only open to the public on Sundays** With various routes, you can either stick to the Nagle Trail which is a .5 mile paved loop or venture out onto one of the longer dirt trails. Note: the Forrester Tour is marked with red posts at trail intersections, Woods Loop is marked with green posts. With 2.5 miles of hiking trails (some with self guiding interpretive signs), sheltered picnic areas, meadows, streams and forests it is the perfect place to spend the day in the woods! There are picnic tables in two areas which make it great for packing a lunch or snack to enjoy while you’re there. There’s a tractor at the trail head that the kids always like to stop and admire as we start out.  Also a great grassy meadow by the cabins perfect for letting little legs run free.  To keep your little hikers moving along the trail there are various bridges and climbing trees to keep their interest.  You’ll find several benches along the trails which are great for any needed stops for your family (snack stop, diaper change, or just a goal to reach the next one for the less eager little hiker) More information at https://www.worldforestry.org/visit-2/magness-tree-farm/
