Lower Rouge Trail

Lower Rouge Trail is located off Morton Taylor Road North of Michigan Ave in Canton, Michigan. There is parking at the trail head with seasonal rest rooms available. This trail follows along a section of the Rouge River and is a well groomed 8 foot crushed gravel trail with almost no grade. Trail is well marked with distance markings and side loops. Trail is the site of the annual ‘Canton Celebrates National Trails Day’ event on the first Saturday of June each year.   Submitted by: Gary Marks, Canton Leisure Services
