Chau Ram park is located at the confluence of Ramsey Creek and the Chauga River and is Oconee County’s “Best Kept Secret.” –sctrails.net The Lower Loop trail is about 1 mile long, and takes you past Ramsey Falls, over a 160-foot suspension bridge, and along the river (including several rapids) before looping back through the forest.

Creek / River, Mud Puddles, Picnic Area, Playground, Viewpoint, Waterfall, and Wildlife Viewing Ramsey Falls is a 40-foot waterfall that is handicap accessible to view. The suspension bridge crosses the Chauga River to start the loop trail. Underneath the bridge is a nice beach area with picnic tables.
