1. PLACES / LEWIS RIVER FALLS
This long, moderate trail leads you through moss-covered forest and features three must-see waterfalls.  The first of the falls is a short 1/8th of a mile from the parking lot. This is Lower Lewis River Falls, a 43-foot cascade that pours into a notorious swimming hole. There are several viewpoints along the trail before it continues 1.5 miles farther to Middle Lewis River Falls. Viewpoints here are limited but what you can see is beautiful. A short side trail will lead you to the smaller Lower Copper Creek Falls. The next falls you will arrive at is Upper Lew River Falls. This is another great spot to take a dip and have some lunch. If you want to continue the adventure, follow the trail another ¼ mile to Taitnapum Falls before turning around to head back to the parking lot.
