1. PLACES / LEIF ERICKSON
Super easy flat dirt fire road that you can stroller, run, bring wheelchairs and maybe even walkers, although it’s bumpy. You can do as much of this trail as you like and pop in and out where you want. I would suggest with kids starting at the Thurman road entrance, as this one has decent parking and is a deadend road so it’s easy to unload kids. There are some steep drop offs on the side of the road, so if you have multiples, you just want to make sure they know not to go to the edges. The road itself is wide though and kids who are comfortable hiking and respect hike boundaries will be fine. There are lots of bikes and dogs on this hike, especially at the end of they day, so plan accordingly. Great trail if you are new to jogging with an all-road baby stroller.
