1. PLACES / LEBANON VALLEY RAIL TRAIL- LAWN TRAILHEAD
The Lebanon Valley Rail Trail is a flat paved or packed gravel trail suitable for all strollers, early walkers, toddlers, and other explorers. The Lawn Trailhead has a port-a-potty, swing set, and teeter totter, and some climbing equipment. To the west it is approximately 2 miles to the county line–where the LVRT meets the Conewago Recreation Trail. To the east it is approximately 2 miles to the next trailhead, Colebrook. This section passes the back side of a farm between .75 to 1 mile from the parking area. This farm often has horses in the pasture, in the spring there are often geese and ducks along the creek.
