1. PLACES / KUBOTA GARDEN
This lovely Japanese garden is rich in history and greenery. A self–guided tour map found at the trailhead outside the garden will lead you through a lattice of trails, bridges, ponds, fields, and waterfalls. A main gravel pathway makes this accessible for an all-terrain stroller, but there are lots of small dirt paths that you won’t want to miss. There is some elevation as the garden is on a slope, but there’s plenty to see on the way up, you’d hardly realized you climbed a hill. Portable bathrooms were available inside the garden. If you have a little walker, note that the ponds are easily accessible.
