1. PLACES / LAKE FENWICK PARK
This is a nice easy walk to the lake, until you get to the 177 step staircase! This trail starts out on a boardwalk past the apartment complex nearby then into the forest. Easy rambling hills get the blood moving before the big stair climb. Yup, I’ve counted them: 177 steps to reach the highest point of the hike. After some high fives and deep breaths, the trail heads downhill towards the lake. Wrapping around the lake you’ll find a nice grassy area for a great snack break. Just beyond the large field is the newly-remodeled floating boardwalk. There are 3 separate parking lots near the lake.
