1. PLACES / KENNETT SQUARE - LONGWOOD GARDENS
Longwood Gardens is a 400+ acre botanical garden, with a 4 acre indoor greenhouse/Conservatory.  Wide, paved paths crisscross the entire property, making this a very accessible and stroller friendly location.  Each season brings a new display, so you can expect something a little different each visit.  In the cooler months, you can spend some time in the outdoor section of the property, and then head into the balmy Conservatory to warm up.  The Conservatory also contains a large childrens’ garden, which has water features for the kids to enjoy.  In the warmer months, there is a fantastic fountain display to experience.  The winter holidays also bring an amazing display of lights and festive decorations, as well as a large outdoor train setup.  In addition to the gardens, there is a large ‘meadow garden’ which makes for good wildlife spotting due to its large size.  There are some treehouses for the kids to explore as well.
